Riad Brummell is a five-room retreat tucked into a quiet Medina street, minutes from Dar el Bacha and the Jardin Secret. A restored 1880 palace where original mauresque architecture meets bespoke design — poured terrazzo beside hand-applied tadelakt, a central courtyard, and a rooftop terrace above the noise of the Medina.
Every Riad in Marrakech has courtyards, lanterns, and rooftops. The task was to make Brummell feel specific — to capture its particular calm, craft, and design-led character, and set it apart from a hundred similar properties.
The film leans on light and texture over grandeur — the join between materials, sun moving across tadelakt, the courtyard revealing itself. Paced as a guest's arrival rather than a property tour, and grounded in its neighbourhood: quiet retreat, moments from the best of the Medina.
